Are You Ready For Some Football?

Went to the Freshman and JV Football Game last Thursday... 
Never shot football before... I had a blast!

Lake Lights

And the Lord said, Let there be light!

Took this at Lake Alan Henry... it was about 11pm at night... 
My brother and I were able to see the lake and the terrian outline
as the strikes hit...  it was amazing to watch.

WOW!!!

Okay! Like a southern breeze blows by, so has three weeks... and the World Series!  We had the pleasure of being a host family for two kids from Manchester, New Hampshire... and they were a hoot!  Caleb was one of two bat boys for Manchester.  Tom and Jake spent 10 nights with us.  The day they left was painful!  Tears ran as they loaded on the bus and it sped out of the parking lot down to hwy 114... headed toward the airport.  We were so bummed...  so we went to Taco Villa for a soda to help soothe the pain!

World Series

Levelland, Texas is hosting the 13u ~ Babe Ruth World Series

from August 18th ~ 26th.  We have a great team of All-Stars

put together and should compete very well...  Here is one of

the players, Alex King.  Good Luck Levelland!

On July 25, 2010:

We attend the Springs Fellowship...  We had several that were

baptized after the morning service.  We used the swimming pool

that was in the parking lot that had been used for the kids camp weekend.  It was truly amazing to see!

The Levelland 12U Allstars got RAKED the last two days!  I guess you could use one of the other coin phrases as well, like: got hosed; got stole from behind; got punked; got slapped silly; got beat down like a redheaded step-child; and the list could go on! 

The Lamesa and Hereford Allstars will battle in Arkansas for the Southwest Regional Title...  Good Luck Boys!

I use got RAKED...  cause a got a picture of one!  But you figured that one, right?

Anyhow...  I will be taking some time off from photos...  see ya in a little while!

Levelland Allstars 12U - State Tournament

The boys played well against Plainview winning 22 - 0.  However, they lost last night 5 - 3 to land in the loser bracket...  playing tonight  for winner of the loser bracket... this win will send the boys to Arkanasas for the Southwest Regional Tournament.
